San Francisco, here we come.
This summer we ran the Hexa Hacker House as an experiment: give a small group of European founders a real base in SF, and see what happens when they build side by side.
The results went beyond what we expected. 83% of the founders were accepted into Y Combinator, signed US customers or raised money from US VCs.
We’re now doubling down on our early conviction: European founders building in SF need a dedicated space and a community of their own. We’re building it. If you’re a founder, investor or operator in SF and want to be part of it, say hi.
Demo Time opens its doors
For the first time in 15 years, we’re opening Demo Time to people outside Hexa. In December, our newest companies will present what they’ve built, and you can be in the room.
Welcome to the team, Antoine!
Antoine Durieux, founder of Alkemics, joined Hexa as a Partner to build software for critical industries: energy, aviation, shipping and defense.
Four new ideas, looking for founders
Four of our Partners are each launching a new company, and they’re looking for co-founders. If one of these is for you, reach out. If it’s for someone you know, send them our way.
IntegrityX
In aerospace, defense, automotive, medical devices and nuclear, code can never leave the company’s own network, and the hard part isn’t writing it faster but proving it’s compliant. Antoine Durieux is building an AI development suite for these teams. It runs on-premise, air-gapped or on a sovereign cloud, generates code against standards like MISRA, DO-178C and ISO 26262, keeps requirements, code and tests traceable, and produces the evidence pack certification requires. He wants founders who know this world from the inside. Read the idea → or reach out to Antoine →
Pong
Satellite operators want their data down in minutes, not hours, but land-based ground stations can’t reach the 70% of the planet that’s ocean. Guerric de Crombrugghe wants to fix that by putting ground stations on commercial ships. He’s looking for a founder with real engineering rigor, hardware execution experience, and the instinct to get in front of customers early rather than polish a prototype in a lab. Reach out to Guerric →
DesignX
Designers still lack a tool built for working with AI agents. Florent Quinti is building one, where designers explore several directions at once, iterate on a live product, make decisions with PMs and engineers, and carry the spec through to implementation. He wants people obsessed with product design: design-minded product or engineering profiles, or entrepreneurial PMs and designers. Reach out to Florent →
PhysicalAIx
General-purpose robots are still years away. Raphaël Vullierme’s bet is to start where sending people in is dangerous: teleoperation in nuclear decommissioning and defense logistics. That earns revenue now and collects the real-world data that will enable autonomy later. He wants robotics engineers, defense technologists, nuclear experts, and founders already working in hazardous operations. Read the idea → or reach out to Raphaël →
Portfolio news
Verso (HX26) raises $6M Seed
Founded by Lydia Bellahouel and Camille Epitalon, with the support of our Partner Florent Quinti, Verso has raised $6M to build the consumer intelligence layer behind business decisions. Angular Ventures led the round, joined by 100in, Kima Ventures, Olympe Capital, Sharpstone Capital and a group of business angels, including BCG Partners, Station F Managing Director Roxanne Varza, and industry experts.
Marble (HX22) raises €6.5M Series A
Started by Arnaud Schwartz and Pascal Delange inside our HX22 cohort, Marble raised €6.5M Series A to make compliance AI the norm. Smartfin led the round, with participation from Adnexus, Passion Capital, and 42Capital.
Lina Law launches Europe’s first AI-native law firm
Co-founded by Franck-Victor Laurant, Cyrille De Baerdemaeker, and Alexandre Cys, Lina Law (HX26) launched as Europe’s first AI-native law firm. Starting in Belgium and France, it aims to build a new category that goes beyond what Legora and Harvey are offering: a different kind of law firm entirely.
Eno launches across 131 and looking for co-founders
Founded by Gauthier Rodaro and Basile Cassiers, Eno (HX26) launched with a bold goal: build 131 industry-specific software products, each led by its own entrepreneur, on one shared platform. Eno is now looking for entrepreneurs to lead these industry products, and businesses willing to help shape the software for their sector.
Netra Power joins Hexa Sprint Energy Resilience
Founded by Alexis Hervieu-Causse and Sandro Matola Steffanetti, Netra Power (HX26) joined Hexa Sprint Energy Resilience. The Geneva-based company takes an end-to-end approach to energy storage: it develops battery storage systems and pools them onto a single platform, making storage available off the shelf.
PMF Collector: the company Requesty almost didn’t build
Thibault Jaigu set out to build product analytics for LLMs. What he actually built, almost by accident, was an AI gateway: the routing and auth layer his team needed to ship their real product. They’d put hundreds of unpaid hours into it before realizing other people needed it too. He tells our Partner Matthieu Vaxelaire how he noticed that his workaround had become worth more than his pitch.
Build with AI: putting Jev into production
Jev, TypeSafe AI’s new model, launched on September 15 and is already getting a lot of attention on X. Camille Epitalon, CTO of Verso, was one of the first to put it into production. In conversation with our CTO Tanguy Goretti, Camille explains how a classification task that took 2h37 and cost $24 on GPT-5 mini now runs in 84 seconds for $0.75, with quality at least as good.
How this CTO lets his AI agents redeploy to production without him
When Rose’s chatbot gets an answer wrong, nobody opens a pull request. Benoit Pothier, Rose’s CTO and co-founder, shows our CTO Tanguy Goretti how a flagged answer becomes a ticket within seconds. An agent writes the fix, tests it against evals, and redeploys it with no human review. The system closes about 20 tickets a week this way.
